Every story has a beginning.
For the London’s first impression is come from Dickens:
" Oliver Twist" ,Without reason, I like this gloomy story at fourth grade in primary school ,Until now I do remember the Serial TV opera which adopted from this novel. Its introduction said that “:He is grown up in the edge of criminal, but he hold human’s best parts:the good ,the beautiful and the true.”.

London was not good in my mind for a long time, I think it’s overcast, humidity, and the building was often surrounded by fog which is too old.
This time I have a chance to visit London after a short rest, I go out to the first station: Tower of London.
It can be said that Tower is the one of jump-off history in London. In 1078, William the Conquer began to construct the tower in order to protect London , re- built by the several kings ,the tower have been as fort, palace, prison…… Now it is a museum to display corona, gown , weapon and armor. Actually tower of London is a tower group, it include 13 towers inside and 6 towers outside.
When passing through the gate, we caught the famous tower warder guide , he lead travelers visiting the most important spots in tower, and told the most authoritative information and history about tower. Then tourists visit parts on their own interest. This warder whom I caught explained lively so that I doubted whether his duty is a guard or a guide..
Due to the limit of time ,after one hour of guided tour,I only visit the most famous White tower and Jewel house .
The White tower is the oldest building in tower of London , it laid in the center of tower,. It’s a Normandy building ,3floors high,there are tours in four corner , Now the White tower hided many royal weapons , armors and gown ……it is also belong to England ‘s museum .
And in jewelry house the most famous is England regius corona, including Imperial state crown which embedded 317 carat diamonds, and there have a cross wand called “the star of Africa “which been set 530 carat diamonds .I didn’t stay a long time in sparking diamonds .I didn’t know why I have a unreal feeling that those sparking stones can bring how many changes to human.
The old astronomical observatory is laid on a little hill , In courtyard there have a base of wide copper string which sign the 0 degrees longitude ,many tourists do pose with their legs cross two hemispheres .
The second morning ,I went to the Cambridge . Sitting on the boat , and slowly cross many various bridges ,through the Queen’s College ,King’s College ,Trinity College ,St John College ,those are very famous Colleges, I imagine xu zhi mo and lin hui yin ‘s smiling or no words with each other ????Really I don’t like the xu zhi mo ,but I like ling hui yin.
The guy who punted was from Michigan in America, he followed his parents as communicating scholarship two years ago, and got this job by chance . I told him, many Chinese people have a special feeing with Cambridge , the boy told me he heard that ,but he forgot the famous poet’s name ,So I simply explained the story about xu and ling ,and read"say goodbye to Cambridge again "and "the April in man's world ". In fact ,the poem was read to myself , maybe he couldn’t understand , I joked to him that if he told people he was punting in Cambridge when he was traveling in china ,he would be given many special treatment .
Then I went a some famous Colleges , it proved web-friend’s experience that it need to buy ticket through frontispiece ,but side–door or back door is free pass in and out .
It still have two hours before back to London ,I went up a taxi in hurry ,and let chauffeur drove to Central Cemetery in Newmarket Road ,I have no relatives buried in Cambridge ,this action is in order to hold a memorial ceremony for a person that I have never seen , her English name was Barbara ,Chinese name is weng mei ling .
Went in the Golgotha’s front door , the row of gravestones let people have a vertigo, and an old man went to me and asked me whether I need help, I asked him whether he could tell me where is weng mei ling ‘s grave ,the old man said without hesitating” please follow me :”
There have a weng mei ling ‘s black-and-white photograph in grave center ,below left side is her birth day, in the right side ,there is a section of English poem:

As walking as talking ,the old man told me that he began to do this work at the beginning of this year ,and many people have look in weng mei ling from now on ,he also told me here was many people fallen sleep in there ,and weng mei lin would never be lonely in there .
